In Our Own Words BIPOC Open Mic: Cucuy Cuentos Edition

Putting out a call to our local BIPOC community to Showcase their creativity through SCARY stories, poetry, art (live art), music, stand up and more.

In honor of the upcoming holiday, this month's theme is SCARY:

Some examples:
- Retelling tall tales your abuelita tells about your bisabuelo seeing the ghost of Pancho Villa
- A story you heard from a tía about her friend getting cursed for practicing brujeria and you turn it into a poem.
- Or even an embarrassing moment that was very scary for you, possibly turned into a song.

Anything that can be defined as Scary and expressed in any creative form you'd like. We leave the interpretation of "scary" up to you. No fake blood though, that's messy, lol and no chasing people around trying to scare them either.  Let's make it scary, but still fun and (even funny) please.
